I t's not quite December but Comedy Cottage is feeling festive as it invites us along for its seasonal bash – the Christmas Special.
But it promises no turkeys – only stars of the future at The Harlequin Theatre in Redhill, next Friday, November 30.
Why not gather your workmates, friends or loved ones together for some festive merriment?
Kicking off the party will be Twitter sensation Luisa Omielan who will be bringing a taste of her recent Edinburgh Fringe Festival Show, What Would Beyoncé Do?! to the venue.
The sell-out show was one of the hottest tickets at the festival and earned her five star reviews and accolades galore.
You can now only see the full version at the Soho Theatre in January 2013 so this a chance to catch a segment of the show from a comedian who is billed to be big.
Comedy Cottage also welcomes back BBC Comedy Award finalist Tez Ilyas, who was a huge hit the last time he played here and has since seen his career go from strength to strength.
He has found himself as a finalist in five different competitions and winning the coveted Comedy Store King Gong.
Jan Maree is a top female comedian in New Zealand with numerous awards, TV, radio and print credits to her name.
Last year she became the first female comedian to win New Zealand's highest accolade, the prestigious NZ International Comedy Festival Fred Award.
Bringing the night to an end will be David Trent, who is back after previewing part of his Edinburgh show a few months ago.
He travels around the circuit with his own power point presentation – his act is difficult to describe but you're challenged to find another like him on the circuit.
Your MC is Sajeela Kershi and there will be music from Peter Dennis.
