THE world's top squash player has been presented with a trophy created in Dorking.

Recognition Awards, based in the High Street, sent the engraved glass trophy to the USA to be presented at New York's Grand Central Station on January 14.

"It was a great honour to supply and engrave such an important award," said company manager Sean Davidson.

"We're looking forward to welcoming people to our new showroom."

The Professional Squash Association's player of the year trophy was won by world number one Ramy Ashour, of Egypt, at the JP Morgan Tournament of Champions.
